These boards would not be causing all the hype they are today if they were not beneficial to the way teachers teach and students learn. Although technology is not always 100% reliable, Interactive Whiteboards will only be as useful as the person taking the time to learn its unique qualities and features.When a teacher takes the time to learn all of the functions of the board, it will make this technology powered gadget be that much more reliable. Below are some bullet points I collaborated as benefits for the teachers, as well as the students.
Teachers will love these boards because...

- A study was done demonstrating that Interactive Whiteboards have been able to get Students with Special Needs more motivated and attention focused because they are able to interact with the board and complete tasks through the board (Whiteboards,2002).
Since Interactive Whiteboards are great for any type of motor skills, can accommodate many learning styles at one time and lessons can be modified instantly, this board could be a great way for teachers to connect with each student individually in a collaborate classroom setting.
